Scott Lesht Hired as Campus President

Skokie, IL (September 14, 2010) – Sanford-Brown College (SBC) opened in Skokie, Illinois this week, with the first group of students starting classes. Sanford-Brown College provides applied learning and hands-on training that prepares students for new careers in the allied health field. The college will be offering programs in the health care industry, including Medical Assistant, Health Information Management, Dental Assistant and Surgical Technology.

Scott Lesht will serve as campus president and will oversee the day-to-day campus operations, admissions and recruitment, while ensuring a student-centered learning environment. He will also work with faculty to develop new programs and foster excellence among students and staff.

"Under the leadership of Scott Lesht and our experienced faculty and staff, Sanford-Brown students can pursue an education within health care that will provide them skills to serve the Skokie and the surrounding community."

Lesht is a native of the Chicagoland area and grew up in Schaumburg, Illinois. He attended Indiana University. He also has a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Lesht joins Sanford-Brown from Career Education Corporation, the parent company of Sanford-Brown College based in Hoffman Estates. He previously had a career in finance at Bear, Stearns & Company.
