ALS Ice Bucket Challenge at Sanford-Brown Institute Ft. Lauderdale

On Monday, August 29, 2014, George Strothmann, Pharmacy Technology Program Director; Anthony Boone, Senior Admissions Representative; Clyde Ramsumair, Clinical Coordinator Medical Assisting; and Dr. Enrique Mendez, Program Director Dental Assisting accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The ALS Association has raised over $15.6 million because of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge (Saffir, 2014)! By participating in this event SBI Ft. Lauderdale students, faculty, and staff raised money for the ALS Association, which is an organization that provides assistance to people suffering from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
