SBC-Houston commemorated the Constitution Day

Constitution Day activities at Sanford-Brown College, Houston campus was a collaborative effort with great success. Participation from Admissions, Faculty and the Librarian involved a day of fun filled activities. The celebration took place on Tuesday, September 17 in the school lobby, classrooms and library. The day started with each classroom beginning the class day by showing the video titled “Executive Branch: What Does a Mayor Do?” from the Annenberge website. The library display included a table decorated in red, accented red balloons, tray of cookies, a poster board display of the “Constitution,” “History of the Flag,” “Civil Rights Act, “and “Liberty Bell.” The school lobby also, included a beautiful red and blue table adorn with vases of candy, U.S. Constitution booklets, and Trivia Game sheets about the U.S. Constitution for the lobby and library. Participates in the Trivia Game names were placed in a drawing. The drawing took place on September 18, and the prizes for four winners was (4) US Flag kits. Also, in the school lobby a video played continuously about the U.S. Constitutuion.
