SBC Cleveland-2011 Give Back Week- DEA Drug Take Back Day

November 10, 2011 General, Give-Back 0 Comments

Our students hosted a DEA sponsored Drug Take Back Day event for the surrounding communities.  We were able to collect 80lbs of expired or unused medication! We have also established Sanford-Brown as an official site for collection events, which occur biannually in April and October each year. Thank you to anyone who participated or brought in medications! A special thank you also goes out to Valerie Burson who coordinated this event for our program and students.   We will have our next event in April, so if you forgot your meds, or know anyone who has old drugs at home, hang on to them until then and we can dispose of them for your properly. Thanks again for all your help and support!
