New York, NY, May 15, 2011- “Love Yourself; Love Your Neighbor was adopted as the school theme for this year’s AIDS Walk to rally our support to fight against this dreaded disease and raise funds for GMHC and other important local AIDS service organizations,” said Geneva Marie-Louis, the co-team school leader and program director of the pharmacy technician program.

Despite the heavy downpour of rain, a united community, 45,000 strong, filled the streets to vital steps towards ending HIV/AIDS in New York City. The school raised almost $1,500. Celebrities made a strong showing at this year’s event notably the TV hit show, “ Modern Family”
