SBI-Jacksonville – Clara White Mission Event

June 25, 2011 General, SBC-Jacksonville 0 Comments

On June 15, 2011, 42 of Sanford-Brown Institute - Jacksonville’s Medical Assistant students from Instructor Katherine Harris and Craig De Witt’s classes prepared and delivered 250 brown bag lunches to the homeless at the Clara White Mission. Students raised money to purchase the supplies for the lunches by having nacho sales at the campus. The students also held a clothing and personal hygiene product drive at the school and they were able to deliver these items to Clara White the same day. It is one more way Sanford-Brown Institute – Jacksonville is giving back to the local community.
