Sanford Brown Friendly Cup of CoffeeOur Career Services Department plays a very significant role in preparing our graduates for their careers. Therefore, Career Services advisors must develop a productive working relationship with our current students … as early as possible.

On Monday, July 15th, our Daytime DMU101 class invited Mr. Peter Cooper (Employment Development Specialist, Career Services) for a friendly cup of coffee. This was an excellent opportunity for the class to meet Peter for the first time. As students continue to complete their academic program, Peter will visit the class again (multiple workshops) plus they will have many one-on-one coaching sessions.

Thanks to Christopher Bonacarti (DMU Instructor and Clinical Coordinator) for organizing this activity. This is a perfect example of intradepartmental cooperation, which can only benefit our students' success.
