SBC-Jacksonville – Thanksgiving

On November 19th, Sanford-Brown Faculty and Staff served a dynamite Thanksgiving lunch for students. Faculty and staff brought some of their favorite holiday dishes to share, and students contributed as well.
The meal was scheduled to start at 12pm, but everyone was so tempted by the delicious smells of turkey and side dishes, that the hungry hordes descended at 11:30.
However, once lunch was over and everyone had eaten their fill, we found ourselves with a surplus of three enormous platters of leftover turkey and a stack of dinner rolls. In the spirit of giving that characterizes Sanford-Brown Jacksonville all year round, not just during the holidays, faculty member and clinical coordinator Katherine Harris called the Sulzbacher Center, arranged to donate our turkey platters, and delivered them herself, demonstrating once again that around here, gratitude isn’t just a feeling, it’s an action!
