SBC Atlanta - Give Back Week

November 28, 2011 SBC-Atlanta, General, Give-Back 0 Comments

SBC Atlanta students and staff gave back big during the SBU’s give back week initiative. Students conducted fundraisers, staff served lunch to students and students gave their time at the Boys and Girls Club. Students from each medical program at SBC Atlanta spent one afternoon with the kids at the Brookhaven Boys and Girls Club educating kids on their chosen program and the importance of education.

Medical Assistants taught the kids the importance of a well-balanced diet and nutrition, cardiovascular students taught kids all about their heart, Massage Therapy gave free kiddie massages and taught kids ways they can help their parents relieve stress. Diagnostic Medical Sonography students gave a fun and interactive lesson in Anatomy and Physiology.
