SBC-Austin Veterinary Dental Wet Lab Seminar

April 17, 2012 General 0 Comments

On March 24 and 25, SBC-Austin hosted a Veterinary Dental Wet Lab Seminar with Animal Health International, a veterinary supply company. Dr. Brook Niemiec, a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College from Southern California Veterinary Dental Specialties, presented continuing education lectures and laboratory procedures to the local veterinary community. This two day seminar brought exposure to the upcoming Veterinary Technology Program at Sanford Brown College in Austin, Texas, that is estimated to start in May 2012.

Along with the positive public relations, the seminar will also help increase the student scholarship fund. Animal Health International has promised a contribution toward future students entering SBC-Austin’s veterinary technician program. The Veterinary Dental Wet Lab Seminar with Animal Health International was a success for both the local veterinary community and the Sanford Brown College in Austin, Texas.
