Retail Merchandise Management

Retail Merchandise Management is a dynamic business arena that requires an in-depth understanding of direct sales operations, buying strategies, merchandise procurement, and sales supply chains. In order to be successful in the field, you need to develop strong management and communication skills as well as leadership capabilities.

At Sanford-Brown's School of Business, students who pursue Retail Merchandise Management degrees can learn the skills needed to sell goods from manufacturers and retailers to businesses and individuals. They can also learn how to select vendors for sourcing, analyze products, develop pricing strategies, and manage merchandise from concept to consumer. Through a combination of hands-on learning and classroom instruction, students can gain a well-rounded understanding of retail merchandising, management and buying.
