Grants and Scholarships

Sanford-Brown offers new and returning students who meet eligibility criteria, the opportunity to take advantage of a number of institutional grants and scholarships. Scholarship and grant availability differs between campuses according to various criteria such as available funds, programs offered, location, etc. Financial Aid can help determine if you qualify for any of the grants or scholarships offered at your chosen campus.

Students are encouraged to apply not only for Sanford-Brown’s scholarships but also for outside scholarships and scholarship competitions to help finance their education.* (See and Many of these sites can help you match your interest with eligibility requirements for all types of aid resources across the country.

  • Alumni Scholarship

    Sanford-Brown offers an Alumni Scholarship of $1,500 per academic year to those who have completed an Associate program at Sanford-Brown or Collins College and want to pursue a Bachelor’s degree at Sanford-Brown. Click here to learn more . . .

  • Art & Design Grant

    Sanford-Brown offers this grant to help students enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor’s program with their outstanding tuition balance after they have exhausted all other state and federal student aid they may be eligible for.   • Liberty Grant

    Sanford-Brown offers the Liberty Grant to students who serve or have served in the U.S. Armed Forces – including active duty, veteran, reserve, and National Guard. Click here to learn more . . .

  • Military Yellow Ribbon Grant

    In accordance with the Yellow Ribbon Program, a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008, Sanford-Brown has established a Yellow Ribbon Grant.   • Sanford-Brown Grant

    Sanford-Brown is proud to offer a grant that can help students with their outstanding tuition balance after they have exhausted all other state and federal student aid they may be eligible for.   • Transfer Grant

  • Workforce Investment Act

    WIA (Workforce Investment Act) is a government agency that provides workforce developmental services to dislocated workers. The purpose of WIA is to increase occupational skill, employment and earnings of candidates by way of educational grants to provide training for in-demand industries and occupations. WIA works in conjunction with educational facilities like Sanford-Brown to provide innovative job training to build a stronger workforce and economy. Click here to learn more.
