Sanford-Brown College prides itself on providing the best faculty and staff and its inspiring when one of them receives national recognition for their outstanding efforts. We have a “Hero Among Us” according to People magazine. Judge Jimmie Edwards, an Adjunct Instructor at Sanford-Brown College- Hazelwood is being recognized for developing an experimental new school called Innovative Concept Academy. This unique school accepts students from 6th – 12th grade, who have experienced the criminal justice system first-hand. It’s a lifeline for teens, who have run out of chances. The school is garnering national attention and showing promising results.
