May 17, 2010 SBC-Dallas 0 Comments

On Saturday, April 10, students and staff from Sanford-Brown College Dallas traveled to the new Cowboys Stadium to volunteer for the Salvation Army and to participate in the 2010 “America’s Fun Run.” Approximately 40 SBC - Dallas students and staff participated in a variety of activities that included registering runners, passing out water and snacks, and many various activities with the children at the “Kids Expo” event. The SBC - Dallas team had a great time touring the new Cowboys Stadium and meeting some of the famous Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.

This is Sanford-Brown Dallas’ second volunteer opportunity with the Salvation Army, with more are planned in the near future. All proceeds from this event will support the Salvation Army programs and services in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
