SBC - Dearborn hosts Basic Medical Tech training Class

On March 3, 2011 Sanford-Brown Dearborn hosted the Dearborn Academy in Basic Medical Technician Training. The 7th grade class was taught by Medical Assistant students the following techniques and screenings: CPR compression for adults, children, infants, and the use of an AED, proper hand washing, vital signs that included blood pressure readings, pulse and weight, vision screening, and the removal of contaminated gloves. The students were given Sanford-Brown lanyards, pencils, informational folders and were treated to a pizza lunch.
