SBI – Garden City Holds Record-Breaking Graduation

Sanford-Brown Institute Garden City (N.Y.) recently held its third graduation ceremony for 2010 at the University Center at Adelphi University. More than 170 graduates, the most students to graduate in a single ceremony since the school opened in 2004, and 650 guests attended the record-breaking graduation.

Guest speaker Maria Sanchez of Primary Healthcare Plus, a local healthcare employer, shared her personal experiences in the medical field with the graduates.

“The graduation was a memorable event for everyone in attendance, especially our graduates who studied so hard to earn this achievement,” said Tony Emerson, director of Career Services, SBI – Garden City. “Every time we hold a graduation, the reaction of family, friends and staff never ceases to amaze me.”

Since the beginning of 2010, more than 670 students have graduated from SBI – Garden City.
