Successful Pet Supply Drive

Sanford Brown Fort Lauderdale Pet Supply DriveDuring the month of July, SBI Ft. Lauderdale students, faculty, and staff donated over 100 items to the Abandon Pet Rescue located in Fort Lauderdale. The donations included 88 food items for dogs and cats (wet food, dry food & treats), 11 toys, and 8 cleaning supplies. This fundraiser was organized by National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA) and Florida Veterinary Technicians Association (FVTA) Student Chapter Officers: Molly Bell, Past President (2013-2014); and Rene’ Demetrius, Past Historian (2013-2014).
