August 5, 2010 0 Comments

This month Sanford-Brown held a grand opening ceremony for its newest campus, in Dearborn, Michigan offering healthcare career training to students.

Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) joined the festivities along with Dearborn Mayor John O’Reilly, Fire Marshal Jeffrey Oldenburg, representatives from the office of Rep. John Dingell (D-MI) and other prominent citizens representing medicine, business and local government.

“This community’s attention to our institution is a humbling event," said campus President Roger Hosn. "At Sanford-Brown, our goal is to meet the needs of students and employers by providing innovative, focused educational programs in a variety of health fields that can prepare students for a career. The programs that we offer are relevant to the local needs and focus on areas that offer exciting employment opportunities.”

The new Sanford-Brown Institute in Dearborn has already enrolled more than 350 students.
