Our MA students at SBC-Health in Houston, Texas, "Spend the Day With A Senior" at University Place Retirement Community, on the 29th of March.

This was an exciting event for both the students, the seniors and the staff at University Place. Each student was pair with a Senior and allowed to assist them with their daily activities: grooming, walks around the campus and playing organization games (Bingo, Monopoly and Dominos). The staff love for the students to stop by the campus, because many of their clients don’t receive guest on a regularly basis.
The students love the opportunity to interact with senior and listen the story of their lives before entering the retirement community. We are going to start an " Adopt a Grandparent Day" were more of our students, can be match and maintain an ongoing relationship with senior of University Place.
