Are you intrigued by how footage from film and video shoots is transformed into cohesive, interesting-to-watch motion pictures? You can learn how it’s done in Sanford-Brown’s Post Production Associate degree program. Not only can you get hands-on experience editing video and film clips – you can learn how to sync music, dialogue and sound effects to create mood and build excitement.
The Associate degree in Post Production will involve you in the art and technique of telling stories through motion pictures. Using industry-current, professional technology such as Adobe Photoshop and After Effects; Avid Pro Tools; and Maxon Cinema 4D- 3D, you can develop the conceptual and technical skills needed to edit moving images for film, television, and streaming video. Along the way you can become proficient in image creation, motion graphics, sound editing and typography – and, as your skills and talent evolve, build a portfolio of work to show prospective employers when you graduate.
