December 1, 2010
TREVOSE (December 1, 2010) – Sanford-Brown Institute – Trevose is celebrating the season by giving back to the surrounding community. The campus will serve as a collection site for both the Philabundance Food Drive and Toys for Tots through December 15.
Philabundance was created in 1984 under the belief that no man, woman or child should go hungry. It is now the region’s largest hunger relief organization. Last year, SBI – Trevose collected 653 pounds of food for Philabundance and this year’s goal is 900 pounds. In addition to food donations, the community is encouraged to drop off new, unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots drive on the campus. The toys collected will go to needy children in the local community.
