Top Honors Given for Exam Participation, Test Scores and Pass Rates
ISELIN, NJ (April 18, 2013) – The National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) awarded Sanford-Brown Institute – Iselin, with their top honor of “School of the Year” for 2012, based on the students’ accomplishments and certification test scores. The NAHP is dedicated to assisting students in the healthcare field to obtain a credential in the most proficient manner possible.
“Our academic standards and hands-on training ensure that students have the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence they need in order to pursue careers in allied health fields,” said Dennis Mascali, President, Sanford-Brown Institute-Iselin. “Being recognized as ‘School of the Year’ by the NAHP not only reinforces the rigor of the SBI-Iselin program, but it is a testament to the commitment of our students to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom.”
“Students at Sanford-Brown take their exams seriously and their careers even more so,” said Dr. Salvatore Giardina, Director of Education, Sanford-Brown Institute – Iselin. “Our students have come out on top because of their hard work, preparation and focus.”
On March 7, 2013, NAHP representatives visited Sanford-Brown Institute – Iselin and presented Mascali and Giardina with the award, a banner for the school and a $500 check for the student services department.
Sanford-Brown is also committed to supporting the diverse educational needs of students in the allied healthcare fields through unique, career-focused service learning opportunities. These programs allow students to take their classroom skills and knowledge into the community to address critical health needs.
NAHP helps make the process of obtaining a credential an accessible, affordable and obtainable goal for those who wish to show commitment to their chosen profession. It’s one of the few organizations that offer multiple credentials. This can save the applicant time and money to maintain their credentials with a single agency. All continuing education can be credited to all credentials.
