Houston, TX. (April 27, 2010) – The Sanford-Brown Institute (SBI) North Loop campus will host a charity golf tournament on Fri., April 30, at the Southwyck Golf Club, which is located at 2901 Clubhouse Dr. in Pearland. "This is our second year putting on this tournament for a local charity," Marilyn Hall, North Loop campus president. "We got involved in the organization last year when Chad Morgan, our pharmacy technician program director, lost his father to a blood disease much like the ones the children at the Periwinkle Foundation are fighting. Our goal is to raise funds to send some of these great children to Camp Periwinkle this summer."
During the tournament, Sanford-Brown will also host a longest-drive contest, closest-to-the-pin challenge and hole-in-one contest. Registration is $125 per golfer and sponsorship opportunities start at $250.
