SBI-Pittsburgh Celebrated Constitution Day

October 3, 2013 General 0 Comments

On September 17th, 2013, students and faculty at Sanford Brown Institute celebrated Constitution Day to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17th, 1787. Although the acknowledgement of Constitution Day is a Federal requirement, a lot of effort was put forth by the faculty into making this an educational and fun day. Instructors developed unique lesson plans and activities that included word searches, PowerPoint presentations, crossword puzzles, video presentations from the Annenberg Video Collection, and lively classroom debates. Student feedback was collected and showed that a positive learning experience and a better understanding of our government and Constitution were the laws of the day.
