The SBI Ft. The Campus Life Committee includes employees from several departments: the Campus Registrar Tara Assevero, the Director of Career Services Chris Ruczicka, the Medical Assisting Program Chair Clyde Ramsumair, the Veterinary Technology Clinical Coordinator Dr. Monica Sastoque, the Director of Admissions Paula Cohen, and a Career Services Advisor Miren Sahonero. They organized Dollars for Diabetes Week. During this special week students who donated money enjoyed a variety of events which included Pizza Day, Italian Ice Day, Team Spirit Day, and Popcorn Day. The Committee also had a few cookouts on campus where they sold t-shirts, hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks in order to raise money. The Committee also organized a campus wide raffle for students and employees. Medical Assisting Student Emely Reyes won a pair of high quality headphones and Campus President Mark Conroy won a Tablet PC. All the proceeds from every event were donated to the American Diabetes Association.
