SBI - Garden City Promotes Autism Awareness

May 3, 2013 SBI-Garden City, General 0 Comments

SBI - Garden City celebrated April “Autism Awareness Month” with gusto! In order to highlight the growing need for concern and awareness about autism students setup up a fully functional information desk loaded with pamphlets and educational tools. Student Ambassadors monitored the desk daily to provide the campus a structured location where one can be educated on how to seek support and the overall details about the disease.

They then cut out puzzle pieces (the logo for the cause), wrote words of inspiration on them and displayed it on the newly named; "Window of Hope". This was a true act of unity, letting victims know they are not alone in the fight and together we will prevail!
