SBC Las Vegas Promotes New Brand in Style at 2014 Extreme Thing Festival

SBC Las Vegas Extreme Thing 2014 BannerSanford-Brown College (SBC) in Las Vegas participated in the 2014 Extreme Thing Action Sports/Music Festival. This is the 5th year the campus has been involved in the event. This year, roughly 20,000 people attended and 100 of our Audio Production students worked the event doing setup, sound checks and takedown (5 stages, 2 special event areas).

SBC Las Vegas Extreme Thing 2014All students wore custom designed SBC Extreme Thing Event Staff shirts that also displayed the logos of our studio sponsors (Gibson and Vintage King). As the title sponsor of the event, SBC had the "Main Stage" which had the headlining act of the night, The Used, close out the all-day event.

Extreme Thing, which has proven to help with recruitment, has also turned into an excellent hands-on training experience for our students.
