SBC-Phoenix to host 2nd annual Career Services Week for graduates and current students:

Here is a detailed list of the schedule of exciting events during the 2nd week of April:
  • “Externship: You have to bring your “A” Game!”
    When and Where: 12:30pm Friday April 5th Room 3 – Mr. Jay Caruthers from Pediatrix only hires those who have completed their extern hours at his office. He will be discussing what he expects from his externs and tips on how to get hired at your extern site.
  • “Nacho Average Resume Clinic”
    When and Where: 10am Monday April 8th – Please join us in Lab C to learn how to put together your professional resume. Learn the “DO’s and DON’Ts” of a resume. Please bring pen and paper for notes along with your Flash Drive to save your document. Oh, and enjoy some Yummy Nachos as you learn.
  • “Take This Job and LOVE It!”
    When and Where: 9am Tuesday April 9th Room 3 – Luzanne Hansen will be here to tell us about MIHS, “Maricopa Integrated Health System” including: Job Opportunities, Tips on “how to get in,” etc. She will conduct interviews afterwards. If you are interested in an interview, see the Career Services team ahead of time.
  • Guest Speaker from AZCCC “Healthcare: It takes passion AND compassion”
    When and Where: 1pm Thursday April 11th Room 6 - Bill Sessoms from Arizona Center for Cancer Care will be on campus to discuss job opportunities with this organization. They offer a very unique opportunity; you don’t want to miss this.
