SBC-Dearborn - Rotary Club of Dearborn Breakfast in Honor of Pro-Literacy Detroit

April 1, 2011 General 0 Comments

Sanford-Brown College Dearborn participated in a fundraising event for Pro-Literacy Detroit on April 1, 2011.   Pro-Literacy champions use the power of literacy to improve the lives of adults, their families and communities.  Unfortunately, close to 18 million adults in the United States read well enough to earn a living wage.  The mission of Pro-Literacy is to create a world in which everyone can read and write, and use technology to lead productive and fulfilling lives.

Sanford-Brown College Dearborn sponsored a table and was represented by President Roger Hosn, DOE Denise Gruener, DOA Jonathan Watts, DCAO Danya Kadouh, and helped raise more than $4,000.00 for Pro-Literacy Detroit.
