This week, Sanford-Brown College – Atlanta joined the American Kidney Fund, for a free community health fair at Atlanta’s City Hall. Students provided with free screenings for kidney disease and checked blood pressure for over 100 of Atlanta’s most prominent city leaders and government workers.
The American Kidney Fund health initiatives provide health education, screenings and prevention services to populations at high risk for kidney disease.
“Working with the students of Stanford Brown College has been a breath of fresh air. They are well verse in the medical field and their skills are impeccable. Their customer service skills are excellent. Their willingness to learn about the American Kidney Fund screening process and protocol was very receptive to the staff and the public they serve.” Omatola Gordon - American Kidney Fund.
The event was so well received Sanford-Brown College is already working with the American Kidney Fund and planning to partner for two more health fairs later this month.
