Sanford-Brown College Skokie –Evanston Coalition of Latino Resources

On October 21st, 2011, students from Sanford- Brown College- Skokie, Illinois  performed free health screenings  at the Joseph E. Hill Education Center in Evanston, Illinois. The Bilingual Medical Assistants provided blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose screenings. They also distributed helpful hints on the importance of eating right in order to avoid high cholesterol and blood pressure. This event was held to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
