SBC-Milwaukee hosts LIVE CME - End of Life Care Seminar

November 9, 2011 General, Continuing-Education 0 Comments

This live CME activity was approved for 7.25 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM by the Wisconsin State Medical Society along with 7.1 Nursing CEUs through the WNA and 7 CLEUs from the Wisconsin State Bar.

This allowed Medical providers and Attorneys to attend the symposium and receive appropriate credit hours. The conference was an excellent opportunity to give back to the medical community and to elevate the reputation of our campus’s commitment to education in the community. We streamed the conference to the JAX campus. We are putting together a DVD of the conference.

Our campus is in the planning stage of putting together a follow-up live CME conference in the spring of 2012, related to Communication Skills for health care providers related to serious illness and Advanced Care Planning - as the SB live CME initiative continues to evolve and grow. Like our recent EOL conference, our next conference will also be recorded and streamed.
