SBC St. Peters raises supplies for local agencies serving moms and babies in St. Charles County, MO
On April 27, 2011 a baby shower was held at Sanford Brown College St. Peters. The third annual shower, benefiting Shower of Love, was the culmination of a month long baby supply drive to benefit the charity. Shower of Love donates new baby items including diapers, clothing, food and supplies to area shelters for mothers and babies. Each week of the month had a designated theme including Baby Booty week in which donations of diapers, wipes and creams were collected; Yummy Tummy week for the collection of formula, food and bottles; and finally Snuggle Bug week for the collection of bedding, toys and clothing. The campus donated a Pack-and-Play to serve as the donation center, which filled up quickly with nearly $1000 of supplies and cash. Representatives from the charity were on site during our baby shower to accept the donation and share in cake and punch with our students and staff.
