SBI Cranston- SBI Instructor Marnie Lourenco goes bald to raise $1,530 for childhood cancer research!

On Tuesday April 19, 2011, SBI Cranston Instructor Marnie Lourenco supported the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and shaved her head to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer and to help raise funds to find cures.  Ms. Lourenco raised a total of $1530.00, which included donations made by SBI students, faculty and staff.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Donations give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
