Sanford-Brown College – Collinsville is one of the first schools in the area to construct a new lab and begin offering a Medical Lab Tech program. Students learn to perform manual and automated tests with physicians, lab managers or laboratory technologists for jobs in hospitals, independent laboratories and doctors’ offices. Students are also taught to understand, maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment
Sanford-Brown College – Collinsville celebrated the campus expansion by raising money for Ronald McDonald House Charities. The Mayor of Collinsville, John Miller, and the President of the St. Louis Metro Area Ronald McDonald House Charities attended the event. The campus hosted a reception for Metro St. Louis area Chambers of Commerce, offering live music by a Carbondale, IL based band called The Swamp Tigers (www.theswamptigers.com), Olive Oil tasting, free chair massages given by Sanford-Brown College Medical Massage Therapy students, and the opportunity to meet the Gateway Grizzlies mascot. Most of the food and beverages were donated and volunteers from Kohl’s Department Stores and All-Team Staffing helped to make the event a success!
