Sanford-Brown Institute - Garden City Kicks Off its 2010 Community Relations Campaign

On Friday, Jan. 29, Sanford-Brown - Institute Garden City kicked off its 2010 Community Relations Campaign by volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park, New York. Eighteen volunteers, consisting of staff, faculty and a head chef from North Hills Country Club, created a menu, bought, prepared and served food to more than 50 families.

Every family member staying at a Ronald McDonald House spends all day and night at the Schneider Children's Hospital with no time to cook or eat. Sanford-Brown Institute provided a few hours for the families to laugh, talk and most importantly spend time with their loved ones.
