On May 18, 2012, Sanford-Brown College-Skokie students and faculty volunteer at the Niles Township Food Pantry and participate in an on-campus “We Serve” Food Drive raising food items to be donated to the Niles Township Food Pantry.
The SBC-Skokie students and faculty are part of the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) Centennial Community Service Week, and join thousands of the other students and faculty across the country who are also participating in WE SERVE (Students Empowered to Respond and Volunteer Everywhere), the agency’s centennial event. In addition to advancing excellence in education across the schools it accredits, ACICS believes in giving back to the communities its colleges and schools serve. That is why they have created a membership wide community service project that will serve as an integral component to a year-long celebration. As a member of ACICS, we share in that commitment to serving our community.
Giving back to the community we serve has been a rewarding opportunity for the SBC-Skokie Allied Health students, faculty and administrators. This project has created a spirit of teamwork through all programs and given our campus a goal to help beyond the classrooms. We are honored to serve the Skokie/Niles community and plan to continue reaching residents through many service learning events, health fairs and exciting projects on and off campus.

Welcome to your future. Welcome to Sanford-Brown.
