SBI New York hosted the 26th annual “National Take your Daughter and Sons to Work Day”
Participants had an opportunity to visit the Pharmacy Tech Lab on the 2nd floor where they helped make lip balm with the students in the class. Dr. Brahmi and Dr. Malana showed them how to scan in their Ultrasound classes and Ms. Quammie had some Medical Assistant students volunteer by taking vital signs. Anthony Jones, our Director of Admission, brought movies for the children to watch and a non-profit foundation donated items to give as prizes. All the children received a Certificate of Participation and were all sent home with scrub tops, and a Sanford Brown mug and t-shirt. All this while getting to see to where their moms and dads go everyday to provide for them and their families.
