On Thursday, May 12th, Sanford-Brown Institute held a Talent /Cook-off Show with our student body to raise funds for the AIDS walk on May 15th. The event gave our students an opportunity to showcase their culinary and musical/dancing talents (salsa dancing, singing, piano and guitar playing) and the participating audience (an afternoon and an evening show) had a blast. We truly appreciate the dedication and commitment of our cooks, performers, staff members and attending students.
On Sunday, May 15th over 200 SBI students, instructors, staff and family members/friends participated in the AIDS Walk at Central Park, New York City. Although the weather did not cooperate, our School team was very excited to be part of the 6.2 mile walk. This is our second year participating and we are proud to report that the “Sanford-Brown Institute team was able to raise $2,231.00.”
