SBI-Pittsburgh Spotlight: Staff Sergeant Antonio Clay

July 15, 2013 General 0 Comments

Sanford Brown Pittsburgh Antonio ClayAntonio Clay. Just another student, right? Well, there are several things you don't know about our own military staff sergeant in our ranks.

Mr. Clay has been here in Sanford Brown for several months, working on obtaining his Medical Assistant Specialist degree. He is a decorated military man, earning two Army Commendation medals, his Army Achievement medal, and National Defense Service medal. His military career has spilled into his schooling, allowing him to use that same dedication in the army to further his education here at Sanford Brown.

His instructors have nothing but good things to say about his professionalism, his dedication, his grades, and how well he handles himself. Fellow students will comment on how he is always helpful and how he carries himself with a calm demeanor.

While at Sanford Brown, Mr. Clay has involved himself with the Student Ambassador program, talking with Patti Yakshe and others to help improve student-staff relationships and make this school a better place for everyone.

Yet if you ask Antonio, he will just tell you he is doing the best he can for himself and his family. This humble demeanor means that while you may see him every day, you may not recognize the outstanding person he truly is.
