SBC - Grand Rapids takes pride in saluting Mark Collins, C2010; for turning education into an opportunity.
Mark is focused, a Medical Assistant at a prominent sports medicine practice and aspiring to further his education. However, he can recall a short time ago that his future was not as bright. Not only was his family worried about the direction he was headed, his instructors were concerned as well. After a humiliating personal experience that almost jeopardized his educational career he was committed to turning his life around for the better. His 180 degree turn meant being more engaged in classes, setting goals and planning for the future.
With aspirations to become a surgeon, Mark now proclaims to be a ‘life learner’ and is preparing for the long road ahead. When asked where his drive came from his confession, his faith. ~ Through faith most anything is possible ~ Mark Collins, C2010.
