Sanford Brown College partnered with the City of Cleveland, MetroHealth Hospital, Buckeye Health Plan, Case Western Reserve University, KAZradio, Scenarios USA, WellCare of Ohio, CareSource and the Cleveland Department of Public Health to offer a Day of Fun and Health. Our Medical Assisting and Medical Billing and Coding students offered general health screenings for school age children. The event featured Music, Food, Face Painting, Games, Clowns, Prizes as well as Vaccinations, Childhood Lead Screenings, Sickle Cell Testing and HIV Testing.
The Event was so successful Sanford Brown College was asked to work the upcoming Family Health Screening with City of Cleveland, MetroHealth Hospital, Buckeye Health Plan, Case Western Reserve University, KAZradio, Scenarios USA, WellCare of Ohio, CareSource, the Cleveland Department of Public Health and the VA Medical Clinic. This event will take place on September 17th at McCafferty Health Center on Lorain Avenue in Cleveland from 10AM – 2PM.
