The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Back to School celebrates its 16th Anniversary giving back to the community. As the economy is in a downturn, now, more than ever, the residents of Milwaukee County need the celebration of community and family.

On August 7th, 20 members of our staff headed by Tim Holloway participated in the MLK Back-to-School Festival. This festival provided 6,400 free backpacks filled with school supplies. The school supplies included 1 SBC pen and 1 SBC pencil. The staff members also provided nearly 5,000 bottles of water for individuals who attended the festival.

What a great success! Awesome job SBC-Milwaukee!
