President of Sanford-Brown College in Boston Expresses Thanks

Richard Farmer, president of Sanford-Brown College in Boston sent the following note today, updating the situation following yesterday's bomb blasts a block from campus and expressing his thanks to everyone who has offered support and encouraging words.

To update you, the College will remain closed for the rest of the day today. We will, however, be open for classes tomorrow! Our immediate street is now open to both vehicles and pedestrians, although much of the area remains closed as a crime scene.
The College will hold our previously scheduled Graduation tomorrow afternoon. The event will go on as planned at the historic Faneuil Hall at 3:30 p.m. Faneuil Hall is one of the most historic shrines in the City of Boston dedicated to the birthplace of the American Revolution. We meet there to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates, to reflect on the fortitude of our forefathers, and to pause in memory of those killed and injured innocent people who came to our city to celebrate Patriot's Day and to participate in the Boston Marathon.
Since late yesterday afternoon, I have received dozens and dozens of calls, emails, and text messages from colleagues throughout the company. I have shared each of these messages of support and caring with members of the Sanford Brown College Boston community. We take great comfort in knowing that others are with us as we prepare to greet our students, faculty and staff tomorrow morning. And while we share many challenges together as a company, our true strength lies with the people of the Career Education family! I am grateful for these messages of support and feel greatly privileged to be the leader of our College and a member of this organization.

Thanks again for all of your support and assistance.

Richard E. Farmer
