SBC San Antonio Hosts 2nd Annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand for Childhood Cancer

April 21, 2011 General, SBC-San Antonio 0 Comments

On Wednesday, April 13, SBC hosted its second annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand, which is a charity organization that raises funds to combat childhood cancer. Staff and students brought in baked goods to sell, and there was plenty of Country Time Lemonade as well. Along with raising money, students created and distributed flyers, which educated customers about Alex’s lemonade Stand and childhood cancer. The stand generated $281, which was donated directly to the charity.  Local television news crews were also on hand to publicize the event.
