April 21, 2011 General, SBI-Tampa 0 Comments

Sanford-Brown Institute Massage Therapy students gave out chair massages to more than 100 Tampa Bay residents on Tax Day, April 18.  The massages were designed to provide a bit of stress relief to people who just filed their 1040 or an extension, as well as to anyone else who needed it.  During the tax day event, more than 70 members of the community also had free blood pressure, blood glucose and other vital health assessments courtesy of the Sanford-Brown Medical Assistant students. Six faculty members and 27 students performed the massages and vital health assessments in Lykes Gaslight Square Park.

The event was a huge success!!
