SBI-Pittsburgh – Donate Life Day
April 5, 2011
As a service learning initiative, April 5, SBI-Pittsburgh is holding a “donate life” day and set up donation tables in the school to increase awareness, educate and promote organ donation within our student population and staff. We are also holding another “donate life” day and have donation tables as part of our Career Fair, April 20.
When:
April 5, 2011
Where:
Sanford-Brown Institute - Pittsburgh Campus
We are planning on continuing this effort throughout the community by setting up donation tables in hospitals, clinics and community events. Please help support these efforts by stopping by the CORE table in the lobby next Tuesday, April 5.
CORE (Center for Organ Recovery & Education)
One of the 58 federally designated not-for-profit organizations dedicated to promoting donation, education and research for the purpose of saving and improving the quality of life through organ, tissue and corneal transplantation. CORE serves Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and part of NY, which encompasses 155 hospitals. Together we can save many lives.
