Welcome to the Landover campus of Sanford-Brown, where we are committed to preparing motivated individuals who think of one day pursuing exciting careers in the healthcare industry. Sanford-Brown Institute, located in Landover, Maryland, has been delivering quality educational career training for over three decades. Conveniently located near the I-95 corridor, our school draws students from the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area, Baltimore, Northern Virginia and surrounding areas. We offer classes during the day, afternoon, evening and weekend to accommodate your schedule. My goal as Campus President, along with my administrators and faculty, is also to make a difference in the lives of students and the delivery of educational services that we provide to ensure you meet your goal.
At SBI-Landover, you will have an opportunity to enroll in a focused academic program led by dedicated professionals and have access to tutoring services should the need arise. Many programs also include clinical externship opportunities designed to provide you with the opportunity for patient interaction and further development of your clinical skills.
Under the direct supervision of classroom instructors, you will have many opportunities to participate in community-sponsored events, such as community health fairs, festivals, government-sponsored health initiatives and seminars to further enhance your skills. These additional opportunities provide a rich and rewarding experience beyond the classroom.
Our Career Services staff will provide professional development opportunities by facilitating career seminars and inviting industry professionals and employers on campus. Industry experts discuss topics which are pertinent to your field of study and allow you to gain insight into desirable qualifications and professional characteristics of prospective employees; in addition, they provide networking and interview opportunities for employment assistance by facilitating campus career fairs and providing career resources to support your career search.
We measure our success when a student graduates and is employed in their area of interest. Therefore, we are ready, willing and eager to support you every step of the way as you complete your studies, work towards graduation and seek employment in your chosen field of study.
