According to the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment opportunities for Registered Nurses are expected to grow much faster than the average across all occupations through 2016. Furthermore, employment of Licensed Practical Nurses is also projected to grow faster than average. Overall job prospects are expected to be very good.*
To help meet the demand for qualified professionals in this field, Sanford-Brown offers both Registered Nursing and Licensed Practical Nursing programs that are designed to prepare students to treat patients and provide advice and emotional support to their family members. Nurses play one of the most important patient care roles in treatment and recuperation.
