The Business Office Administration program at Sanford-Brown College is designed to prepare students for active business environments and to pursue exciting opportunities. Students use computer software packages common in today’s technologically advanced business setting. The curriculum is designed to provide students with hands-on learning and workplace simulation in order to develop problem solving, planning, and communication skills.
Graduates of this program should be able to define and discuss basic concepts of business office administration as well as design effective processes for office operations. Students can also learn how to use basic and advanced features of a spreadsheet application to develop business solutions and apply and integrate various software applications common to most current business environments. Understanding the importance of effective communication, the program will focus on how to apply creativity skills to generate and deliver professional presentations. Further, graduates can learn how to integrate project management concepts and skills in the management of office projects.
